At Colorado College, I teach a Literary Publishing Practicum that provides our students with information, tips, and discussions around publishing. We talk about literary journals, book publishing, careers in writing, current trends and conversations in the lit community.

One area we focus on is how to begin submitting your work to literary journals. Below are some of the materials I've used and I'm sharing them here. These are methods and tips that I have found helpful and by no means is it extensive or inclusive in all approaches to publishing. This is just what I've experienced along the way and what I share with my students. I hope it helps you too!
